The founding idea of the company in 1986 was to offer shippers in the international food and chemical industries a service concept with which liquid and pourable products can be transported across Europe.
Nitz + Co. Speditions-Kontor has always seen itself as the interface between production and trade as well as between tank and silo transporters. The organizational task in the forwarding sense was and is to place the products of consignors in the freight holds of specialised carriers.
We already anticipated today‘s ubiquitous term “synergy” effect by optimising the utilisation of freight holds and reducing the percentage of empty kilometres through the establishment of a pan-European network in order to contribute to greater economic efficiency and, last but not least, to a better ecology.
We pass on the economic benefits resulting from this philosophy to our customers via our freight rates as a competitive advantage.
Based on our many years of experience and the expertise of our employees, we offer logistics solutions for liquids on road, rail and water from the Duisburg logistics centre on a pan-European and increasingly global basis.
